Rent Collection Service
For landlords who want to stay hands-on, but would still like help, Darlows' Rent Collection service is ideal. Darlows will provide financial advice, collect rent and chase any arrears.
What’s included in the Rent Collection Service?
Finding your ideal contract-holders
First, we’ll advertise your property on RightMove, OnTheMarket, our website, and social media channels. Plus - our agents will manage any viewings and negotiate offers.
Completing contract-holder referencing
After finding your contract-holders, we will complete all contract-holder references, including:
- Referencing and Right to Rent checks including credit checks, employment, and references from former landlords
- Organising any safety compliance certificates
- Arranging deposits
- Take move-in monies and ensure the occupational contract has been signed
Your local Darlows office will take the pressure from you and get the contract-holders moved in quickly and correctly.
How can Darlows help after contract-holders have moved in?
Our Rent Collection service will help you, as a landlord, with managing incoming rent. We understand protecting your investment is your priority - it’s ours too.
Once contract-holders are living in your property, we will:
- Collect rent on your agreed plans
- Manage rental arrears
- Provide monthly and annual statements for landlords
- Negotiate contract extensions
What is the landlord responsible for?
With our Rent Collection package, landlords are responsible for maintenance and negotiating deposit release when the occupation ends. This helps landlords who want to interact with their contract-holders and be personally involved with maintaining the property.
If you would like to be completely hands-off, our Full Management service includes finding and referencing contract-holders plus ongoing maintenance. Find out more about Full Management services here.
